Today was amazing! Stephanie was chosen to carry the Olympic torch in Georgetown! One year ago today, she had her surgery for breast cancer. Great work Johanne. You have captured the essence and the beauty of Stephanie’s historical celebration. I was lucky enough to be present on this special day! I loved every moment of it! I am so proud and happy for Stephanie and for everyone who shared this special time with her and her family! When the day was over I found myself wishing that we could do it all over again! I didn’t want it to end! Johanne…your pictures will help me to keep the experience alive forever! Dear Stephanie….thank you for sharing your special adventure with me! I love your beautiful smile and embracing spirit!

I,too, was lucky enough to share in this wonderful day.
Tears welled up when I saw Stephanie emerge from the bus and they flowed freely when the torch was lit….it has been a difficult year for Stephanie and her family…this celebration of the human spirit was proof that miracles DO exist.
Johanne..these photos will be treasured, thank you.
